The Axiom PoE+ (PSE) Series media converter connects copper and fiber network segments with reliable 10/100/1000Base-TX to 1000Base-FX media conversion, and it can also be forced to 100Base-FX when needed. Designed for flexible network expansion, this Axiom transceiver/media converter combines high-speed data transmission over a fiber optic link with power delivery over CAT5e/CAT6 UTP cabling.
Compliant with the IEEE802.3at standard, this Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) provides 48V or other supported voltage to compatible IEEE802.3at powered devices (PD) over twisted pair cable up to 100 meters (330 feet). Its built-in AC/DC power supply, over-current protection, DIP switch configuration options, and Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) support help ensure dependable operation in a variety of network environments.
